    Well, it is a "fixable" problem. The DSR-200 recorded the same digital data as a mini-dv camera would have, but because it recorded in DV-CAM the tape runs at a faster speed. This in turns makes a 60 minute mini-dv tape only run about 40 minutes when in DV-CAM record mode.

    You can probably make a digital copy from the camera that it was shot in onto your own camera via the firewire connector.
